I study astrology quite a lot and have many other interests. I have taken Heather Eland's course at the Cosmic Academy of Astrology, and also enjoy the depth of Chris Brennan's Astrology podcast and all of the guest that he has on.

Most of my natal planets are either at home in their own domicile sign or in exaltation, except Uranus and Neptune, and the Sun (which is on the Summer Solstice and at its highest declination).

I primarily use both Hellenistic and Modern astrology, using the Whole Sign house system and the Tropical Zodiac, but also open to all forms of astrology.
I am fascinated by the continuity and breadth of astrology from Ancient times across many different places and cultures throughout this world. It strikes me as interesting that so many ancient techniques have been lost and re-discovered, and others are still yet to be known again, and that these techniques are often far more insightful and accurate than many of those in modern astrology which are more open to varied interpretation.

I am very grounded, calm natured, sensual, tactile and nurturing with my Taurus Moon conjunct Venus.
With a Sagittarius AC and Mars in Aries, I like getting out and exploring different places, going on walks and bike rides, and also thinking about the bigger picture.
My Gemini Sun and Mercury like to fill in the details and converse with others. My Sun is conjunct the Descendant by exact degree.

I am very much a free spirit who loves to see the diversity of other people. Nature is one of my favourite things to be immersed in.
My skills and previous work include carpentry, joinery, and wood-carving, as well as a degree in the Life Sciences, a flexibility of mind, writing, and crafts. Foraging and wild-crafting herbalist medicines are an enjoyable and valuable experience. I like both mental and physical activities, as well as explorations of many esoteric subjects.

In astrology, I look into mundane and natal transits, aspects, sect, lunations, Solar and Lunar returns, progressed charts, progressed Moon phases, annual profections, the Lunar nodes and eclipses, electional astrology, zodiacal releasing, house rulerships, synodic cycles, retrograde cycles, and also have an interest in the asteroids, fixed stars, terms/bounds, decans/faces, triplicities, dodecatemoria and astrocartography.
