Stop messaging me (and everyone, really) out of nowhere, to waste time by saying nothing except a greeting, as if we already know each other.

If this is your style, do you do that in person too? Just walk up to people, stop in front of them and say, "How is life?", staring at them creepily?

If so, ask yourself why. Then address the issue of demanding peoples time, and lazily making them guess why you're talking to them. And stop.

There are a lot of people all over online who seem to think that the internet is not part of modern society, when ironically, they are on here a lot.

If that type of behaviour is some peoples social awkwardness going overboard, please try to just smile or say hi, and then pass people in the street. This is what us normal, non-invasive people do.

Online, here are basic examples for socializing: "I noticed you posted about this. What do you think of this?", or, "I have the same thing going on in my chart; does this type of situation happen for you a lot too?"

To meet people with similar interests, go to places, like museums, concerts, or whatever other events you like.
