Not looking to date right now, but I’ve been unlucky when it comes to interpersonal relationships for a long time, and figured I might as well look to the stars for guidance while I try to reach my goals and take control of the things I can. I came down with pernicious anemia around this time last year (no fun going from doctor to doctor during an epidemic with a non-COVID related problem, trust me). As a result, I developed secondary erythromelagia (my feet would burn and churn and leave me screaming in pain). With the nerve pain medication I’ve been taking, I gained nearly 100 pounds, which really did wonders for my already low self-esteem. I’ve kind of accepted that I may never have a real relationship outside of family and online friends, but on the off chance the treatment I’ve been getting means I won’t be in hell every summer, and I can actually lose the weight, might as well see if I can still find someone I can at least share a mutual attraction with. I probably shouldn’t even be here and yet here I am. I can’t focus on school and I’m supposed to graduate, which I think might not happen to the mind fogs I’ve been in. I just need something new in my life, and I ended up here. I hope this is where I’m going to be able to get some motivation for anything.
